Pictured: A 1936 Railton. These were basically Hudson Terr aplanes with British coach-built bodies. They were quite popular and fast for the time and sold fairly well for several years , until WWII, at which point the company ceased automobile production.

TIL that Railton road cars are only associated with Railton land speed record cars in that Noel Macklin (the maker of rebodied Hudsons) basically paid Reid Railton (of then-considerable Napier Railton fame) for the right to use his name.
